Minnesota transforming trauma virtual summit

  In the 2020-2021 school year, educators throughout the country were left having to figure out how to how navigate a “new normal.” In addition to trauma induced by the global battle against COVID-19, students and educators are being asked to help heal their communities from intense political divides that may deepen as we respond to November’s presidential election.
We don’t know what 2021 is going to throw our way, but we do know that our nation’s educators are being tasked with providing effective learning environments (virtual or otherwise) in the midst of unprecedented chaos.
National Safe Schools Convening’s Transforming Trauma Summit is here to support educators in this journey. This summit will provide youth-serving professionals with resources to help them successfully navigate the barriers of this school year, as well as find balance in their daily lives by prioritizing care and compassion for themselves.
Educators are essential. Healing is crucial. National Safe Schools Convening is proud to support and stand in solidarity with teachers, administrators, and all youth-serving professionals as they move boldly forward.
